Chandelier Lily Icicle with Birthstones

I am so happy to offer these little gems. They are repurposed chandelier light bulbs that I have sculpted with heat, filled with Oregon rain from the individual months of the year and topped with a brass lily bell . The Oregon rain inside surrounds a glass tube filled with natural or man-made birthstones appropriate to each month.

This Oregon Du Drop Icicle is an example of a light bulb that I heat irregularly to give it its eccentricity. It is part of a class of Oregon Du Drops that i call '“Ice-by-Fire,” because when the fired glass is filled with Oregon rain the piece looks like melting ice.
